This weekend I went away with my friend to Brighton. We stayed in Hove which is a 20min walk from Brighton centre at Seadragon Backpackers. If you don’t want to be in the busy centre of Brighton or don’t mind the walk, I would really recommend this backpackers. The guy that worked there was lovely, I am Coeliac and they provided gluten free bread, it was a really quiet area and clean.
Friday and Saturday night were spent bar hopping. We went to a couple in Hove then headed towards Brighton. My favourites were the The Lion and Lobster, they have a gorgeous terrace area on the roof! and The Gin Tub – it only opened a couple of weeks ago, its an intimate cocktail bar where you order drinks at the bar using an old school phone at your table.
Saturday night we went to a restaurant called SIX, and the food was so yummy! It was organic, healthy healthy and fresh and the staff were so nice! Definitely recommend going there!
Although it seems like all we did was eat and drink (which we kind of did), we went on the Vertical Pier that has just opened, the electric train, and got some much needed sunbathing in and walking the Lanes. So many funky shops to be seen. Brighton is a good getaway rain or shine, just make sure to bring a windproof jacket as it can be super windy!
Until next time x
